Why Adaptive Triggers Fail
Adaptive triggers combine mechanics and small drive assemblies. Dust, wear, impact, and liquid residue change travel and feedback. A “soft” trigger is not always dirt — sometimes the mechanism needs parts, not only cleaning. We diagnose before quoting.
Repair Process on the Bench
The DualSense is opened, trigger assemblies and related membranes are inspected, worn parts are replaced, and travel is tested through the full range. Adaptive feedback is checked where hardware allows. Sticky face buttons get membrane or pad attention in the same session when requested.
If sticks also drift, combine with drift repair or joystick repair.

Racing games rely on trigger resistance for throttle feel; shooters use adaptive cues for weapon tension. A stuck R2 ruins both. We test after repair so presses are clean and return springs behave — not just “digitally on/off.”
