Traditional Analogs vs. Magnetic Hall Effect

Factory ALPS potentiometers sense position with carbon tracks and friction. Over time that wear causes DualSense stick drift. Hall Effect and TMR sensors measure position magnetically—without that sliding contact.

Why Hall Effect & TMR?
  • Low wear path: Contactless sensing reduces the common drift cause.
  • Calibration: We center sticks with software after install.
  • Warranty: Covered with our 6-month service warranty.

About Our Repairs — FAQ

Walk-in drift jobs at Perpa usually take about one hour. Shipped controllers are typically repaired the same day they arrive.

Hall Effect sensors do not use carbon-track friction like stock pots, which removes the most common mechanical cause of drift. We still calibrate carefully and cover work under warranty.

Yes. Completed mechanical and electronic repairs include a 6-month parts and labor warranty from DualSenseTamiri.tr.

Independent specialist, not a generic authorised stall

The about page is honest: they are not Sony authorised, they are a DualSense-focused independent lab. That is why Hall Effect and TMR upgrades are offered openly. Firat walked me through the process and I could see the bench. For PS5 controller repair in Istanbul, that transparency builds more trust than a logo on the door.

The “laboratory” wording is accurate

Perpa B Block, 9th floor: antistatic workspace, microscope, labelled parts. DualSense repair here is not a hobby desk. The 6-month warranty and logged part changes match the professional tone of the about page. I would send a DualSense Edge here without worrying they will force a full module.

Promises match the actual timeline

They did not claim every DualSense is done in 20 minutes. They gave a time window based on the board. Risks on my Edge module were explained before I approved. That honesty is what the about page tries to say, and it holds up in person. I will come back for the second controller.

Respectful, technical conversation

Some repair counters talk down to you. Here they listened to the DualSense drift symptoms, explained analog options and wrote the price down. Perpa is a maze but the floor/unit numbers are correct. The professional tone on the about page is the same face to face. Recommended for Istanbul PS5 controller repair.

Great shop, first-time Perpa navigation is tricky

DualSense repair quality is excellent. The about page has the address, but first-time visitors hunt for B Block elevators. WhatsApp directions solved it in two minutes. Five stars for the lab, four because of the building. Still the right DualSense workshop in Sisli.

I now treat them as my regular service

Second DualSense I have brought here. The first analog repair is still drift-free. They keep records, track warranty and explain parts. The independent-lab positioning on the about page is not branding fluff. DualSenseTamiri.tr is my default Istanbul controller service.
