DualSense drift repair is for controllers whose left or right stick moves on its own — camera drift in shooters, a character that walks unprompted, or a menu cursor that never stays still. Spray cleaners rarely fix worn potentiometer tracks for long. At our Perpa laboratory in Sisli, Istanbul, we measure the offset, replace the stick module when needed, and calibrate before return.
Packages start from about 850 TL depending on sensor choice (standard, Hall Effect, or TMR). Workmanship and parts for the repaired sticks carry a 6-month warranty.
Why DualSense Stick Drift Happens
Inside each analog stick, traditional sensors rely on physical contact. Dust, wear, and thousands of micro-movements change the voltage the board reads as “center.” The firmware still thinks the stick is pushed, so the game moves for you. That is classic stick drift — not a software bug you can clear forever with a console reset alone.
Heavy FPS and open-world players often see right-stick camera drift first; platform and racing players notice left-stick creep. Either side can be repaired independently or as a pair.
Our Drift Repair Process
We record which stick drifts and under which conditions (idle menu vs in-game aim). The shell is opened, the module is desoldered or swapped per design, pads are inspected for cold joints, and the new sensor is fitted. Then we run centering and dead-zone checks so the stick returns cleanly to neutral.
- Measured drift before and after
- Single or dual stick replacement
- Optional Hall Effect or TMR upgrade
- Quick check of triggers and charging while open (flagged if needed)

Hall Effect and TMR for Longer-Lasting Drift Control
Hall Effect and TMR modules sense position magnetically, without the same carbon-track friction that causes classic drift. For players who already replaced sticks once — or who play competitive titles daily — magnetic sensing is usually the smarter investment.
We do not invent miracle claims: any controller can still suffer mechanical stick-cap wear or impact damage. What magnetic sensing does well is cut the potentiometer wear cycle that brings drift back after a “clean and pray” job. Compare options on analog / Hall Effect repair and joystick repair.
Temporary Fixes vs Workshop Repair
Compressed-air or contact-cleaner sprays can displace dust and give a short quiet period. If the resistive track is already worn, the voltage error returns. Console dead-zone tweaks hide mild drift but shrink precision. When the stick crawls with no touch, module replacement is the honest path.
Time, Price and Warranty
One stick often lands in the 45–60 minute workshop window; both sticks plus calibration commonly take 60–90 minutes. Pricing in TRY starts from about 850 TL for magnetic drift packages — exact quotes follow diagnosis. Covered stick work includes a 6-month warranty.
